Advanced reporting features allow you to review the current status of all project activities.

The status summary report is fully configurable to meet your needs. Information fields include the following:

 

  • Title – Briefly describes the status of the project activity. For example, ‘provisional’ ‘ongoing’, or ‘completed’. 
  • Read-only fields – A list of project data fields that are read-only when the project has this status. 
  • Mandatory fields. A list of project data fields that MUST be completed before the project is switched into this status. The check for these fields must be performed each time the status of the project is changed. For example, ‘project budget to date’ 
  • Priority

Workflow

The workflow of allowable transitions in any project activity is completely definable to suit your needs. So any workflow can be defined, as projects move from one status to another.

When the status of the project activity is changed, a note must be added, commenting on the transition from one status to another. These notes are displayed on the audit log for use and review by the project team.
