The Claromentis Portal environment provides a fully-featured forum module that allows complete question and answer topic interaction on permission-based forum boards.

These boards can be pre-moderated, post-moderated or completely open – in which case all posts will immediately appear.

Forums within the Claromentis Portal environment:

Can feature different designs – for example social forums may have a less formal design than a corporate forum
Can be made available to different groups of users at different times. For example, a project team may have its own forum that is removed once the project is completed.
Are fully searchable
Can have multiple file attachments
Can be subscribed to – so the system will alert the user of any new postings
Can be displayed in flat or threaded mode for ease in following discussion threads
Are easily set up by forum administrators, including defining forum boards and categories
