Processes

Claromentis follows two established processes at the initial engagement phase of a new project. One applies to the launch of a major product such as an intranet or e-form solution, and the other to requirements gathering and agreement of a prototype for custom development work.

Product Engagement Process

Our product engagement process is well established and fully supports the deployment of your system.

A simplified product engagement process diagram

The initial kick off meetings focus on planning with the sponsors, definition with the project team and agreement on the project plan.

The configuration phase includes all aspects of the visual interfaces and detailed configuration of each application. If there are any e-form based processes identified these are also specified and delivered during this phase.

Custom Development Engagement Process

The initial phase of the development process comprises

  • Meetings to discuss and agree requirements
  • Building a fully functional low fidelity prototype
  • Refining the prototype based on 3 review meetings

The prototype remains the property of the customer, and allows them to develop the actual solution at a later date or using other resources if required. The prototype offers the following specific benefits:

  • Specifications are completely clear, as the working model completely defines each screen and functionality
  • Claromentis can then provide a fixed cost quotation for design and development
  • Timelines and milestones will be reliable ensuring the project is delivered on schedule

Once the prototype is agreed and signed off the design and development can be scheduled, following agile development with regular scheduled reviews.
