When a new project starts Claromentis offers consultancy services to work closely with the client and ensure that the project objectives are clear and the correct approaches are taken.
A project plan is then developed which ensures that the client will meet their objectives on time and within budget, where necessary divided into phases with clear deliverables and timelines.
The nature of the services provided at the early stages of client projects vary in scope primarily according to:
- Scope and Complexity
- The amount of custom development
- The extent to which new products are being deployed
Scope and Complexity
A new client deploying a comprehensive intranet with e-form projects and a custom application will be supported with onsite meetings or web based discussions to ensure that all aspects of the project are well planned and well executed.
However if an existing client is adding a module or a small application, the consultancy required at the start of the project can be correspondingly minor in both scope and cost.
Custom Development
We support new custom application projects with an established methodology that focuses on a prototype to define initial specifications, and agile development with a series of reviews through the delivery phase.
We engage with you to capture the requirements and then commence an iterative approach to deliver a functional prototype.
We recommend that every prototype should have 3 phases, each with a review period to ensure that you are completely aware of progress and can provide feedback to the project team. These reviews can be web based of as a personal meeting.
New Products
Where a client is deploying new products we confirm your requirements and then work through Photoshop mock-ups to ensure that the design is completely appropriate from both branding and usability perspectives. We consider use cases and their interface requirements to ensure that each type of user will obtain the maximum benefit from the system.
We do not start the development of any visual interface and the associated content management templates until you have signed off the design of the system and are completely satisfied with our work.
